The team at Homelands is made up of a permanent staff of nurses, care assistants, an activity coordinator plus trained maintenance, kitchen, domestic, laundry and gardens staff.
There are over 40 professionals on the team, all dedicated to making the residents happy and comfortable.
The team is led by Registered Care Manager, Frances Price; she has put a massive amount of time and energy into making Homelands what it is today and takes a significant personal interest in every resident.
Frequently to be found talking to residents and their families or assisting residents with their applications to social services to secure their support entitlements, she’s a warm, friendly person that you’ll be glad to have by your side.
The activity coordinator is responsible for making sure there is never a dull moment at Homelands, a wide variety of social activities and hobbies are offered and the residents are encouraged to participate in whatever appeals to them, enabling them to live rich, full lives.
For the past seven years, we haven’t needed to use agency staff and will do everything in our power to avoid that happening. We passionately believe in the value of familiar, friendly faces and the difference that can make to a resident’s life.
