You do not need to make an appointment to arrange a visit. We feel that you should be able to pop in at any time. If you wish to see the manager Frances, it is best to make an appointment to make sure she is available.
There’s a range of options available, you’ll be able to discuss this with the manager Frances as it will be tailored to the needs of the resident. She can also provide guidance on government allowances and support as well as care financing options. The only additional costs outside the normal fees would be for hairdressing and chiropody so it’s easy to budget for care.
It needn’t take very long to arrange a move; team members are well trained and highly experienced in helping people to arrange the move as smoothly and as easily as possible.
Where we need to act fast we do and the move will always be arranged to suit the needs of the
resident and their family.
We maintain the very highest quality in all that we do through on-going training and personal development of our staff. The Registered Care Manager is a Level 1 Nurse working Monday to Friday and contactable out of hours through the registered nurse. Each shift is led and monitored by a trained nurse, with nearly all care staff having attained NVQ level 2 or 3.
The food at Homelands is one of the highlights, all freshly cooked from scratch, using top quality
produce to make delicious recipes that form a menu that is varied enough to stimulate appetites and
maintain enjoyment of food.
